Covered areas and bathrooms available The sand here is not "soft" or white like Clearwater, it is shelly. Lots of parking ($6 per car) Great for larger weddings Great for holidays when Clearwater is packed - Sand Key tends to be quieter. Tides do not matter Very crowded / 1.5-2 hours before sunset. Insurancecerts@pinellas.gov (for all 3rd party vendors)
